Reformer Pilates: Your First Lesson

BASI Pilates (Body Arts and Science International) was founded in 1989 by Rael Isacowitz, a former dancer and exercise scientist. He saw the need for a structured and in-depth education for Pilates teachers. Since then, BASI has grown into a globally recognized educational institution, active in over 50 countries with over 50,000 graduates.

What sets BASI apart is the combination of classical Pilates principles with modern scientific insights. The innovative BASI Block System ensures a balanced and targeted structure of each session, tailored to individual needs.

At andNow Pilates, we work exclusively with teachers who have completed the full BASI Comprehensive Teacher Training. This means they have over 500 hours of intensive training in anatomy, kinesiology and teaching methodology. Whether you are new, recovering from an injury or looking to deepen your practice, you are in expert hands.
